Info

The Cryptoparty is a series of talks and workshops aimed at educating common people about online/internet security and privacy. Going from talks about current, through the “why you should care” part, until the part where some solutions will be suggested and even actual hands on workshops. You will leave with knowledge of basic habits and good practices about your cyber security.

Did we forget our right to privacy?
One could oppose: I have nothing to hide! Maybe you have nothing to say. Does it mean the right for free speech is something not needed? And what about tomorrow? And the other people?

In the world of ever increasing use of technology and The Internet, the shadow entities are developing more and more invasive methods to harvest personal information of the users. These entities, be it "official" government agencies, corporate espionage bodies or other criminals, are developing more elaborate methods of mass data collection. The world of Orwell's 1984 is knocking at our doors. At least that much is clear and well documented after Snowden leaks. The series of our talks and workshops, aimed at common people, will try to explain, educate, and draft some methods to protect your right to privacy.
You don't have to be a nerd to protect your privacy!
